Real Estate Agents work for Seller and Job is to sell the house. Secondly they get paid on commission so if they dont sell the house they dont get paid.

You should always on your own get a quote on Flood Insurance before you make an offer. The prior owners flood rate may not apply to you and realtors and home owners are not in the business of finding reasons for you to not buy a home. That is your job as a buyer.

Realtors are always going to try and sell homes, so long as their are buyers interested in buying homes, and sellers whom want to sell homes. Common knowledge.

It is also common knowledge that purchasing in a flood zone could in fact mean one day... you could flood. We also cannot predict when storms will happen... clearly the weather man is off sometimes too.

I cannot however understand why you are mad, and whom you are mad at? Please explain

YOU SUPPOSED TO TRUST YOUR REAL ESTATE AGENT TO LOOK OUT FOR THE BEST INTEREST FOR YOU TO PURCHASE A HOUSE BRAITHWAITE IS NOT THE BEST PLACE TO PURCHASE A FLOODER HOUSE AT THIS TIME MAYBE 4 TO 5 YEAR FROM NOW WHY MY REALTOR DID NOT TELL ME IT WAS NOT A GOOD TIME TO PURCHASE A HOME IN BRAITHWAITE SHAME ON YOUR REALTOR BAD REALTOR
