Help in getting a mortgage for a home in Roscommon County 3bdrm, 2 bath, good condition $50,000.
I admit my credit isn't the best. I have lived at current address 6 yrs. always paid on time. Rural development says I meet all the requirements except the credit score must be 640 or higher.

Work with a credit repair expert to determine how to get your credit scores there as quickly as possible. Short of buying on a land contract (and be sure to cover your bases if you go that route), that may be your best and only option.
