I agree that your best bet is to chat with a local loan officer. They can tell you where you stand now AND help you take steps to improve your credit. You can make a big improvement in as little as a year. Good luck!

Most likely not. You could go try and improve your credit overtime would get you in the position to potentially purchase.

Well, Norma, there's no need to wonder if you can/would be approved for a loan or not.......simply speak to a local mortgage rep and find out!

Not sure what your definitition of "poor credit" is...............and............it would be helpful for someone to explain to you how you can go about improving those scores!
