Good Evening Kathii444,

Arthur is correct. The only cities and towns in RI that have a homestead exemption are:

Central Falls
East Providence
Johnston

North Providence
Providence

The current tax rate is $13.73 per $1,000 of value. Properties are taxed at 100% of assessed value. There is no homestead tax cut.

The town conducts a revaluation of real estate every three years. The last revaluation was done as of December 31, 2006. The next revaluation is scheduled for 2009.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Thank you.
