Wish I had a crystal ball so that I could give you an accurate answer but don't. With that said prices have come down and it's a great time to buy; mortgage rates are excellent, and don't forget about the credit if you are a first time homebuyer.

They have gone down!!

Queens was off at least 20% within the last 18 months.

Brooklyn (excluding downtown) is also off but i'm not sure now much.

Manhattan just started to drop a year ago because of wall street.

I have no idea about the Bronx or Staten Island but im sure they are off also.

The ONLY areas that haven't dropped in the country are areas that didn't go up 200% in the last 4 years.
