Good morning,

Yes, Veterans Administration Loans are only available to qualified Veterans of the Armed Forces.

Yes! Veterans are great loans with helpful benefits, but they are exclusive to veterans as a thank to their service. You either have to be a veteran or a spouse of a veteran in order to obtain a VA loan. If you or your spouse are not veterans, then you should consider other options such as FHA. FHA also has competitive rates and a down payment of only 3.5%. So the best thing for you to do is to speak with a knowledgeable lender like myself to see if you can get started on financing a new home. If you need additional assistance, feel free to reach out. Good luck!

Hello, spouses and children of some veterans may qualify for a VA Loan under some circumstances but the benefit is mostly for Veterans of the Armed Services only.
