The housing market has been quite surprising and scary. Studios do sell in this area. However, it is very difficult to predict where home prices will be in the future, when you are ready to sell. Some factors that potential buyers take into consideration includes maintainence, public transportation, shopping and location. Riverdale is a great area but even this great area has been affected by our current housing market and economy.

I did some of research on this area and there are several studios for sale and ones that have been sold in this area ranging from $100,000 - $115,000. If you can negotiate the price, please do so, most sellers are willing to negotiate to some extent. I am assuming this is a condo or coop, if so, you should also find out how much your maintanience is. But it seem like a good buy.
