Depends on the homeowners association and the landlord.

Some yes, some no. Some do, but with restrictions (size, weight, etc) Your realtor can edit the searches for you so that you don't waste time looking at ones that don't. Good luck!

Hi there...every homeowners association has different rules pertaining to pets, whether it is a condo or town home. If they do allow pets, you have to examine the by-laws of the association to see if there are further restrictions like weight, number of pets permitted, etc. This is critical for you to review as you do not want to end up going in contract for a home that will not permit you have the pets you want. I would never rely on what the MLS listing says, as they can be very inaccurate. If you have any further questions or would like more information on this topic or any communities in Monmouth County, NJ, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Have a great day!

Kind Regards,

Every community has different restrictions. Some allow 1-2 pets, others don't allow any pets. It is best to determine which communities you are interested in and then inquire whether there are pet restrictions.

That depends on the condo's complex, many do not take any pets, some allow all pets, and others only allow a dog or a cat.

To know for sure, call me and I will let you know if the complex you want to live in allows pets. 908-415-7980 Keller Williams Realty E. Monmouth.

All answers below are correct, some condo's do and some do not depending on their rules and regulations and some have size restrictions..

.You must ask a realtor before venturing out and not waste your time.

Condominium associations have what are called "CC&Rs" (Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions) that spell out the rules for owners, renters and guests. Those rules differ from one condominium to another, so if you're thinking of buying or renting a unit, it's important that you first review the CC&Rs to make sure you can live with them.

Some condos have no restrictions on pets, others allow owners to have pets but not renters. Some condos that allow pets have weight restrictions (e.g., up to 25 pounds).

It would be great if every condo association had a web site where their CC&Rs were posted, but in the Middletown area most do not. Some will charge you a fee to make a copy for youy.

Start by asking your REALTOR® to find out about any pet restrictions. If you're ready to make an offer to buy or lease a condo, first review all the CC&Rs or at least add a contingency stating that upon acceptance of an offer, the Seller/Owner must provide you with a complete copy.

Yes. Most do. Some rentals will not. That's up to the owner of the unit.

Some condo complexes have size and weight restrictions. Others limit # of pets per unit. Others do not allow.

Also, if you are renting, the landlord could determine a no pets policy, even if the complex permitted pets.

We're in the MIddletown area, so let us know if you need help.

Some do, and some don't - it depends on the complex.

This information should be listed on the MLS listing.
You can ask your agent to find out for you to verify this!

Best wishes.........
