deadline for offer approvals?

I submitted an offer on a home dat I'm very interested in , $1500 short of asking price, & we (realtor&I) have not heard anything for two weeks now?

After 2 weeks i would assume you did not get it, however to be sure call the listing agent or have your agent call them, there is no excuse if you have an agent they have not called them yet. i would be calling daily. $1500 under asking is only good if there were no other offers. Calling the listing agent is key

The 'deadline' for acceptance should have been stated in your purchase contract/offer. If it is a short sale, the seller should have at least accepted but most likely the lender(s) wouldn't have yet. Check your offer for when your offer expired. If it's expired, the seller may have accepted another offer?
