As stated below, with one year of good payment history on a Chapter 13, you can qualify for an FHA loan.
With a Chapter 7 Bk, you may qualify to buy FHA after 2 years from the date of discharge. Keep in mind that subsequential credit history MUST be clean, clean, clean. Any late payments after the discharge date will push you another 12 months away from qualification.
