If a foreign national is accompanied by money, he or she is welcome to purchase a home in Florida, or any other state in the union. One of the many wonderful aspects of the our nation is that we welcome foreign investors with open arms and no restrictions.

We also have banks that are very willing to work with foreign nationals if they need home loans.

There are no additional taxes that you will have to pay when you purchase a home in Florida. Just be prepared to pay annual real estate taxes to the county that typically amount to around 2% or so of what you paid to purchase the property.

These are the same taxes a U.S. citizen would pay.

Hello Cesar,

Yes of course!
The wonderful thing about Florida is our weather and people from all over the world own property here. In fact many people from colder climates here in the US also enjoy having a property here in Florida and we lovingly refer to them as snowbirds.
Some have second homes, vacation homes, investment property, move and/or plan to retire here.

Please let me know if you would like further more detailed information.

Warm Regards,

Cesar, the answer is yes. If you're looking to finance, speak to a Loan Officer who offers loans for foreign nationals. There is only very few of these programs, generally require much more than 30% down payment, among other requirements.

I'm available to help. Feel free to email me and I'll provide details on what programs we have to offer.

Hi Cesar,

Yes, foreign nationals can buy property in Florida as well as in the United States. There are financing restrictions and requirements that differ from state to state, unless of course you are purchasing with all cash. Selling the property can be tricky if you are not residing in the property or in the US as FIRPTA rules and withholdings will apply. See http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/International-Taxpayers/FIRPT…
As for purchasing in the states, here is a good website to read up on: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/overseas-property/USA-guide.html

If you have any other Real Estate needs or are looking for a local agent, I would be more than happy to assist you.

Hello Cesar,

Sure Why not.

If you don't want to pay cash, there are mortgages for foreign nationals like yourself.

Every lender has different financing programs.

Feel free to contact me if you need anything.

Of course, as long as you have the money it's all good! If you are looking to finance the property then is whole different process and you must contact a lender that specializes in this type of loans.

Yes. Basically anyone can buy any property in the United States. In fact, there are even mortgages available if you qualify.
