Refer to the rental agreement signed which governs what can or can't take place.

How long has it been since you moved out? Usually it takes a week to get a property cleaned & presentable to start showing to perspective tenants. Also it could be that the property is listed, but the Realtor(R) didn't place a 'for lease' sign on the front yard. Have you tried calling the Realtor(R) and asking if the property is listed for lease? I would then follow up with a letter (emailed or faxed). Then if it's still not listed 'for lease', contact the Broker's office & talk to the broker and/or team leader.

What has the agent said as far as to why the home is not back on the market for lease? As Bruce said I would contact that agents broker immediately to get an answer if you are not getting one from the other agent.

Contact the agents broker and demand a responce in writting from them. This may be the quickest and cheapest way to get the agent to do the proper thing. Then if that does not work you may have to talk to an attorney.

best of luck .. Bruce
