Physician relocating to Lawton and would like to know the best place to live and raise children in terms of safety , spacious yards, and good neighbors?
Not sure if you have moved to Lawton, but there are many nice areas to live in Lawton. Depending on where you will practice, the neighborhoods adjacent to both hospitals are very nice with beautiful homes and large yards. Pecan Valley, Shelter Lakes and Stonegate are also desirable neighborhoods with physicians as well as Coronado Estates and Wyatt Acres. I would be happy to show you homes in the Lawton area...just phone Janie B. at 580-512-4021.
I've lived here for almost 28 years, and the North East side of town is the quietest and there are several physician-families that live over there (I used to work for the CEO at SWMC and house-sat for him many many times). Flowermound Elementary seems to be the best public school around here. If you would rather send your kids to a private school, there is also the Lawton Academy of Arts and Science (hopefully my daughter will be going there next year to the 4 year old program) and Lawton Christian School.
