Heather and Lani,

There is no mandatory HOA fee in Port Charlotte Section 2. That area is the section adjacent to Port Charlotte Blvd.

Rip Rap is a relatively inexpensive substitute for a concrete seawall. It consists of stones, more or less the size of basketballs, piled along the canal bank to stabilize the shore and reduce erosion. Rip Rap is not a dock, it is only the wall. If you want a dock you would have to construct that platform separately, usually from wood.

Just kidding, Rip Rap is large Rock (or sometime just concrete bags) used to make a break water (much like a jetty
