Heidi,
Some of them are affordable in 4th & Gill and some of the prices are sky high because they are historical properties. If you like historical homes, then you'll like the 4th and Gill n'hood. We have a friend that bought a home in that n'hood. The people there are very friendly. I think it's a n'hood that will continue to grow and appreciate in value. The area around it is seeing some great improvent/construction. Email me with any questions; be glad to help. They certainly hold their value since they are on the Historical Register. All upgrades have to be done within period of the home so this helps in holding value! They can be a great buy.
