Thanks Lea Ann. Are you saying that people are using 4th and Reid instead of big basin way? That's a lot more traffic that i thought.

I saw a house recently on 20640 Reid (thought it was at least 100k overpriced), but wanted to know the traffic pattern of the road.

Lea Ann is right on. Reid is a feeder street. However, the definition of busy is very subjective. If you are considering a purchase on Reid Lane, perhaps you should invest a half hour or so and walk the street or park your car on the corner of Lacey and Reid or one of the other side streets and watch the traffic. You may want to even do this at a couple of different times or days. Purchasing a home is a huge financial investment and you need to be happy with your choice. In the end, your definition is really the only one that counts.

Reid Ln. is a feeder street to Canyon View and the homes on the hill including Foothill Elementary. It's the other outflow street from 4th St., parallel Big Basin Way. On the other hand, prices are reflective of this fact. As in most things in life, there is a trade off: price/location.

Hi Cc,
What is busy for one person is OK for another. When close to Elementary & High Schools, there will be some noise. Knowing Reid and Canyon View, I dont think you will experience much noise at all.
Still, perhaps if you are seriously considering Buying a home righ there and it bothers you, then physically drive down there morning/afternoon when school is let out and see how you feel. Sounds like you really want a quiet location.....then look up in the Saratoga hills........
