anyone could refer me a good plumbing/contractor for sewer tie in for a home in Bedford MA? Thanks!!

Asked by Carol, Bedford, MA Wed May 11, 2011

We are buying a house with failed septic but town said they have public sewer available for that specific address. We would like to get an estimate for the cost and/or any issues related. Could someone refer a good plumbing contractor that we could use in Bedford, MA? Thanks!!

Have you spoken with your family and friends in your area? Going by word of mouth is usually a pretty good way of doing it. There are a lot of contractors out there so you want to make sure you get a good one. Good thing nobody wants to refer somebody they hate to somebody they like. http://www.aumentaplumbing.com

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm in the same situation as the original poster. I was going to stick to my septic tank, but it's been having issues for months. I think it's better to bite the bullet now and connect to the sewer. http://www.lavendersedm.com

Hi Richard Iovino is a well-known, established excavator who does sewer tie-ins. His office number is 781.275.5859.

You could try the Bedford Board of Health to see if they will recommend local plumbers who have worked with the town. You could also see if your broker can recomment someone.
