Yes! FHA loans are very popular loan programs for first-time home buyers. This loan offers great benefits such as low down payment (only 3.5%), low closing costs, and easy credit qualification. For example, I have been able to give out an FHA loan with credit scores as low as 580. I strongly recommend looking into this program and also talking to a lender like myself. I am a lender based out of Southern California and I have done plenty of loans throughout the state. I would be more than willing to speak with you to help you get the loan that you need. Well I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or if you need a loan, feel free to contact me. Also, if you found this helpful please leave me a recommendation if you can! Good Luck! Yes, programs are available. Most of my first time buyers obtain an FHA loan or a Homepath loan.

Yes, there are. Someof these programs have limited funding due to recent economic trends, but they do exist.

Best thing to do is get yourself a realtor who can refer you to lenders who know about programs you can benefit form.

You can also visit HUD.GOV to find resources for first time buyers.

Much Success to you!

Your BEST option, if you're serious about purchasing a home is to get with a Realtor who knows the area and can help you through the process. That's the FIRST and foremost step in purchasing a home. Check with friends and family to see if they can refer someone to you or research sites, such as this one to find a good professional Realtor such as one of the few that already answered your question.

Your SECOND step is to get pre-qualified for a loan. AFTER you find a Realtor, he or she will have you meet with the lender that he or she uses regularly. This is important.

Good luck!

Hi Yolanda,

I'm a local direct mortgage lender certified and approved to offer nearly every first time home buyer program available in Riverside county and California....I know the programs well. Here are a few of the most popular FTHB programs.

You will want to call me (951) 215-6119 to discuss which one might be best for you and learn which one is more costly and expensive and you'll want to avoid if at all possible.
