Hi Jello,

Normally when you hear the term "abandonment" it does have something to do with a foreclosure. However, if you know that a property has been abandoned, it may not necessarily yet have been foreclosed upon. But no doubt, foreclosure will be on the way. In Michigan the entire foreclosure process is very lengthy. If you would like to know if this particular property has been placed on the market, please contact me.

Hope this helps!

Check with your local Property Appraiser, Tax Collector, or other appropriate Government Office to see what has been Recorded against the Property.

See a Real Estate Attorney for Legal Advice.

Best wishes,
