I don't know what it is, but I drove > 1 hr to look at it and the tenants refused to show it. There was no lock box and the realtor wasn't returning calls. Highly unprofessional. Owners attempt to rid themselves of tenants or something worse?

Hi Abe,

Yes, that is the actual list price.. this is a short sale and I bet you can even do better then the list price!

The only other thing I could gather on this number is that this may be the bank's number.. meaning , it is shortsale approved and this is the number they will sell the house for. But we woun't know that until we make an offer!

made me rub my eyes as well! When you consider it was listed for more than $1 million not so long ago. The only thing I can suggest is that its designed to raIse interest and if that is the case its certainly working.
It could well create a bidding war.
