Would you recommend the Pasquinelli & Portrait Homes at La Villita in Irving, Tx? I'm considering their
Sonoma or Valencia townhomes.

Hi Jaime,
I specialize in new homes as I sold them for a builder for years. The finish out in their homes looks really nice and they tell you a little about what's in their included features on their home page. However, there's nothing that tells you about what's behind the walls, energy efficiency, warranty, etc. They are holding value and selling pretty well. They are definitely outperforming the City Homes. If you are not currently working with a Realtor, I'd love the opportunity to help represent your best interests in this process. It looks like there are not enough drawers in the master bath, for example. I would walk through the home with you and make sure you thought of everything so when you go to move in you aren't thinking I wish I would've thought to do this or that. Portrait homes and David Weekley also have townhomes developments on Walnut Hill in Irving close to 161 and Esters RD.
I think both of the builders you ask about have nice products. If you are not yet working with a realtor, I strongly recommend that you do. You'll have someone in your corner to answer all of these questions and to negotiate on your behalf with the builder's rep. Thu May 15 2008, 13:10

I have heard good things about Pasquinelli and Portrait Homes. I have yet to sell one, but other agents have told me they are a good builder. Here is a link of some recommendations.

Yes that is a GREAT area of Irving... HOWEVER NEVER purchase a home from a builder, seller, or the listing agent UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN REALTOR !... we answer sooooo many emails, calls a week where "things went south" it's tooo late for a realtor to come in on your behalf represent you.
