Would I be approved for a mortgage, if I am relocating and can only prove my income by my first check stub?

Luke is dead on. Sit down with a mortgage broker and discuss your options.

I am a mortgage broker. If I can be of service, please let me know!

If you have a job offer letter that states your base pay and you only need to qualify using that pay then you should be okay to close as long as you have STARTED the job, not recevied your first paycheck. Obviously that can take up to 3 weeks and underwriters understand that.

If you need help with a prequalification, I would be more than happy to assist you. Let me know if I can help.
