Why is it so hard to find a decent realtor in Ocean City? I have asked three separate ones to place me on a list for daily updates and can't

I feel your pain. I went through the same thing until I discovered The Wilkins Group. Burt and Emily Wilkins are fantastic. I have worked with Emily Wilkins in a search for an investment property in Ocean City. She is highly motivated, detail oriented, knows the market, and will answer all questions and inquiries in a very timley and knowledgable fashion. A lot of older generation Realtors ,ay not be familiar with the internet and all it's capabilities. Be careful who you ask and check out there resume first to make sure they are tech savvy.

Wow! That's the 1st time I've heard that one. Ocean City has dozens of aggressive Realtors. I have been in the real estate business in Ocean City for decades, and have made a very good living....responsiveness to my customers and clients is the most important factor in my success. The law of averages will tell you that there is good and bad in all walks of life. If you want a good , attentive realtor , ask for references before you get started with someone, check their track record. The real estate industry has a steady flow of new licensee's who last 1 or 2 years(because they don't have a clue). I will always take on new customers, and take good care of every one of them...go ahead , check my references...there are hundreds. If I can't help you, I will be glad to hook you up with a person who can.

Erin, as a home buyer, I assume you want new listing updates. Let me first say this. Not all agents are tech savvy and setting up an auto email campaign is not rocket science. You just have to find an agent that knows what he/she is doing. Maybe you have to interview a few agents and see who is a good match for you. Oftentimes, buyers and sellers alike will work with the first agent they meet and not be selective. BE selective. It matters when you are working with an experienced agent that knows the inside and out of a community and their MLS, forms, etc.

If you share with me your wish list, I can find an agent that knows what he/she is doing.
