Why is a hse orig short sale, then BOM & again short sale w/price chg.?

Asked by Sweetpea, Port St Lucie, FL Wed Sep 8, 2010

looking at new listings on realtor.com - found a few might look at - find out they are again put up as short sales but the listings either say active or price change or back on market. that is very misleading. nothing else in the description says short sale. FRUSTRATING!!!!!!

Alma is right if get a Realtor to help you it would make the process easier for you to find properties. A realtor will be able to set you up to receive emails that are specific to your search criteria. You have the emails come daily and you will get every day at midnight. It is better that way sometimes updates to outside websites takes time to reach them as Realtor.com receives their info from our system the Multiple Listing Service.

Hi Sweetpea,

Find a Realtor to help you. Realtors have access to the MLS system and are able to get more detail (and quicker) than browing on Realtor.com. Stay loyal to that Realtor and she'll find a great deal for you.

Bank owned listing agents get overwhelmed with calls from buyers who think they'll have an inside track but in reality by the time the listing agent calls that unaided buyer back, the house is already pending sale by a loyal buyer working with a Realtor who showed the house on the first day and immediately submitted the offer.
