Why does it take so long for a hud house to accept a bid?

Asked by Devinsdad, Tue Sep 20, 2011

I have noticed that when trying to buy a hud house that it takes a very long time for them to do anything. Ive seen three people get accepted and the houses got destroyed before they could close.

I agree fully that it takes so long due to the fact it's huge amount of paper work with very little help, here's a more efficient wed site flooded with BLOWOUT bargin investment properties http://www.realitor.com or www. rebuildus.com Good luck on your journey toward success & wealth !!!

http://www.homestore.com is another great site to check as well Devindad... I personally think it's a shame of how some of these home owner's are NEGLECTING these homes when there are numerous of people that would love to take they place !!

You also have to remember that there are many HUD homes on the market which means more paperwork to go through. The market is busy right now whether you buy a HUD home or Short Sale or Bank owned home. Properties have more then one offer and each offer has to be reviewed. If you are buying in todays market you have to bring your patience to the table.

Good luck, hope you find something soon.

Must Hud homes have a time frame and the bids close after so many days. If they don't accept any of the bids they leave it open to a day to day bid. Hope this helps let me know if you have any further questions.
