The schools are good and the homes are well taken care of. With the new $5 Billion plant Intel is building just west of this community, house prices are sure to rise in the coming year.

I have lived for 6 years in Sun Groves. Near Basha High and Navarett Middle schools, Chandler Newer Lake Parks with fishing/ covered picnic areas/ hiking trails and Public pool like a water park. Central to all the malls and most shopping. Feel like country living, but in a subdivision in to the city. We even have a small private zoo/ horse boarder for kids off Val Vista Blvd! It was a multi-builder subdivision that ended the build-outs about the same time the top of the market hit. So, these are now some of the best values due to the market drop on those first buyers/ investors/ speculators.

Dvill, it's a great area in southeast Chandler! There are currently 26 active listings in this community and 48 that have closed in the past 3 months. Approximately 179 properties closed in 2010.

Hi I live in Sun Groves. This area BOOMED during the housing boom and was built up VERY fast. Therefore we crashed hard. Alot of investors foreclosed on their rentals and alot of people that overpaid for their homes just walked away. It is a lovely neighborhood with a few nice parks and a VERY nice, popular city pool across the street, it is more like a mini water park. Just like all areas that built up fast, the bubble burst on us pretty hard. A couple great elementary schools close my daughter goes to Navarette which is terrific and they are also building another one in Valencia so some Sun Groves residents may go there. Very nice neighborhood.
