realize that you were expecting a large influx of families moving to coalinga to work at the st. hospital and prison, however that is not the case. I am a Dr. our dept has over 30 Dr.'s and only two of us actually own homes in town, the rest rent. I have friends that would buy in town however the prices are obscene!! Looking at the average income/education and the fact that there is zero shopping, resturants etc, why would anyone in their right mind move here, yet you keep building there are more vacant homes in town and unless you come back to planet earth, i.e., reality they will remain vacant, oh that's right you can continue to rent them to people who have family members in prison or the st. hospital which brings a great class of people to coalinga or should I say OZ.
