Why are half the houses listed here in Great Falls posted by 'franklymls' ? I know that a lot of these are not franklymls's listings,

but are listed by other companies. Whats the deal here? It makes it confusing who to contact to see a property!
I checked some other zips and it is the same. Looks like frankly upload the entire mris to Trulia!
To see what I mean, check this link: (paste it into your browser)
http://www.trulia.com/for_sale/22066_zip/resale,new_homes_lt…

You can also substitute 22066 in your browser with any other zip and you will see their "listings" in other zip codes...

Hi Anmarie,

You're correct these are not FranklyMLS listings. They actually do very few listings in Great Falls. The comments you've gotten from the other agent are all correct. You're best bet will be choose a buyer agent to represent your best interests. The listing agent is representing the sellers best interests.
Interview 2-3 agents who know the area and see whom you're most comfortable with.

I've worked the Great Falls area for the past 6 years and know it quite well. I'm also a distressed property expert, so if you're looking for a good deal, give me a call or send me an email.

Anmarie, the "franklymls.com" caption simply indicates the source of the data. If you cick on the listing (you might have to scroll down a bit), you'll see the listing company name and, usually, the name of the listing agent.

By the way, I did a search of 22066 and none of the listings on the first 5 pages were from franklymls.com. Were you aware that you have "franklymls.com" in the keyword search?

On the same note as Sue - they pay for the advertising! That is the easy answer I received from Trulia even on listings we have that we have claimed.

Hi Anmarie, In Trulia, agents have to "claim" their listings and if they don't they are not linked to a specific agent and I agree, it does make it confusing who to call. It might be easier for you to simply find an agent you trust and gather your information through that person - a good agent will make your search easier! If there is any information I can help you with, please let me know. Thanks!
