Most non-MLS sites do not update their listing information in real time. In the case of Realtor.com, they only guarantee that they will update their information within 72 hours of the changes being made in the MLS. If you are working with an agent, then you should have your agent set up an automated search for you via ConnectMLS. If you don't want to have an automated search for yourself, then I'd just suggest contacting the listing agent of whatever property you're interested in to get the most accurate information. The most up-to-date website is our Multiple Listing Service. Any status changes are uploaded immediately to that site. You can call the listing agent directly or contact a local agent in your area.

Brian is correct. I would work with a Realtor who can set your search up on Connect MLS.

You confusion is not a unique experience. I use a few online services to update my listing information on various websites. In addition to these services, some sites, like Trulia, get data off MLS feeds. There can be contradictions on many sites due to frequent price changes, update protocols and just plain old sloppy work. When a broker sets up an account for you on Connect MLS, you will have up to the minute data on pricing and status as it's entered by the listing agent. In other words, you'll get the information in real time and that is most accurate.

Contact the listing agent directly. The only website that are correct are the ones that have direct downloads from the mls. Some sites are syndicated links from advertising venues and don't automatically update when price changes occur.
