Great Falls is generally considered rather elite; but most of it is at higher price points. I am very familiar with Great Falls, my family used to own most of it. In fact, if you know Beach Mill Road, that was named that because my grandfather and his brothers ran a saw mill there. I also work the Mclean and other surrounding areas if Great Falls doesn't have exactly what you're hoping for. If I can help you, please let me know.

Neighborhoods/ areas closer to DC tend to have slightly higher/ higher price tags, and they are likely to maintain that price advantage because of the location. There are may other really sought after neighborhoods closer in, such as Mclean, Vienna and so on. They are all great neighborhoods, and the decision comes down to price/ schools/ type of home/ commute, etc.
