It can probably be hit or miss with just about every company depending on the policy, customer service personnel involved, contract vendors or sometimes it can just boil down to how much your rep is willing to go to bat for you. Like much of real estate, it is a business built on relationships.
Personally, I have recently had an absolutely horrible experience with Fidelity. Prior to that, they had been great. Sometimes there is just no rhyme or reason as to how a claim will be handled.
