Where to look up Mello Roos info in El Dorado County?

Is there a place to look up how much a Mello Roos bond is on a specific property in El Dorado County without having to ask the agent each time? I was able to find the information on-line when I lived in Sacramento County using the parcel # but can not locate for El Dorado County. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You can click on the link below. (If it doesn't work, copy and paste the website into your browsers address bar.) You will need an assessor's parcel number.

There are 54 defined communities within El Dorado Hills. 12 of them have Mello Roos bonds with 8 being under $1,000 per year.
Having the APN# and address for the specific property you are interested in will surely assist you in determining the exact cost/payment per year.

I expect that your agent has already given you the run down of the El DOrado Hills neighborhoods. Serrano is the area that always has Mello Roos and is varies greatly from village to village depending on size of home and year built. This is what Serrano has to say on the matter Property owners in Serrano are responsible for the payment of this special tax, which appears on the county's annual property tax bill. The county Mello Roos tax is based on the median lot size for each recorded subdivision and the schools Mello Roos tax is based on the square foot of assessable space in the home. A typical county Mello Roos tax is approximately $938 (or $78 per month) and the schools Mello Roos would be approximately $820 (or $68 per month) for a 2,500-square-foot home. This is general information only; please contact the County of El Dorado for information for a specific property.
Most of other areas of EL Dorado Hills do not have that monthly tax burden. I am an agent working in El Dorado Hills and wish you and your agent the very best of luck!
