Dear Khostadina, There are very few FHA approved buildings downtown. I know that Aperture had FHA financing but the developer has sold out. I believe that Solara Lofts is going for approval. More buildings will be seeking this out as FHA loans have really come back. Of course you can do spot approvals, but many times the building does not have the occupancy needed for FHA requirements. You need to work with a lender that is familiar with the downtown market and the HOA's - the statewide or nationwide FHA databases are very hard to use and many times the building are listed in ways that make them hard to find.

Here's the link to HUD to find all FHA-Approved Condo/Townhouses for the entire US. You'll just type in the area you're searching to narrow your choices. Let me know if you need any assistance.
