Where do I start .. I see my old Home online here and it’s a quick sale. My-X had me sign a quick deed when he left me. So I no longer have any ties to the house … if I came back would I be able to buy the house back. Would I have first dibs? I live in NY now and the home I am talking about is MLS# 28131047
I put a lot into that little place and I was not even close to finished. That yard was immaculate and now looks like a mess… anyway I thought id see where this got me.
This is a short sale. All offers subject to bank approval. Paying up to 3% CLOSING COSTS!! Hi Todd,
This little house is still available and had a recent price reduction to an asking price of $130,000.
iI appears to still have some of it's original charm and you know that the location hasn't changed.
Interested in more info? Give me a call, I actually live and work in Kitsap County / Bremerton area and have time to help you.
Todd,
Mary is right that you have no special right to purchase this property. Since it is a short sale, the bank does not own the property, so the way to get started would be to contact an agent in the area. Though I obviously have a vested interest in this case, I tell people that it is best to work with an agent other than the listing agent because it is difficult for one person to adequately represent the interests of both the seller and the buyer. Buying a short sale property can be a long process that tests your patience.
I do work in the area and would be willing and able to help. If you would like to contact me about that you can reach me at wpaulson@windermere.com. If you want to check me out first, my web site is listed under Web References. In any case, I hope this works out for you.

Unless you have a first right of refusal on the property you wouldn't have any special ability to buy this house back over other buyers. The listing says it is a short sale meaning more is owed on the property than the asking price. If you don't feel comfortable in contacting your "x" to say you are interested you can contact the bank directly and see if you can purchase the property or you can contact the listing agent(s) and tell them you want to make an offer on the property OR you can contact a buyer's agent to make an offer on the property. If I can be of help please don't hesitate to call me 206-227-1915 or e-mail me, msunde@windermere.com. I'm sure the bank would be thrilled to have you purchase this home.
Mary
