Hi Roxanne,

You'll have no shortage of lenders offering to help (much like myself! :-) ), so talk to several and get a good feel for the person you choose to work with. I used to be a broker but now work for a direct lender as it gives me more control over your file, plus, we have amazing interest rates. Please let me know if I can help. We offer no fee, no commitment preapprovals and a very, very quick turn-time.

Good luck with your house-hunting!

In todays market, it's best to have pre-approval through a major lender. FHA is good but if you can do conventional, that would be the way to go. I have been working with a lot of buyers in the Oakley and Brentwood area and even though both of these areas are getting multiple offers with conventional loans, I've been lucky enough to get our bids accepted with FHA approvals. Good luck to you and please feel free to call or email me anytime.

Hi Roxanne: I am first going to assume you mean a mortgage broker and not a real estate broker.

FHA does not require that you have a real estate broker, if that is what you asked.

What you need is a lender that is approved to do FHA loans. Not every lender is approved.

Our bank is local to you (in Walnut Creek) and FHA loans are taking 30 days to close.

We would love to help you.

Hi Roxanne,

Applying for an FHA loan requires an approved FHA broker. Since you are on Trulia, I assume you are shopping mortgage professionals. I am located in orange county, california and provide excellent service and very competitive on rates and fees if you need help.

Hi Roxanne...

You can apply through a Broker or a Bank. I personally think I provide a better service than a bank. I personally handle your file and stay with you the whole process.

I would love to talk. Call me any time at 925-708-5400
