There is no way to be certain if Chlordane has been used in the Forest Lakes home via public records.
Your best bet is to have a home inspector conduct an air quailty test for the presense of Chlordane.

Looks like any house built starting in the 1950s up to 1988 probably had Chlordane used for termite prevention. Even if the original builder did not use Chlordane, it's possible the homeowner used it. I know my Dad used to spray it around the exterior of our house in the 80s in California to prevent ants and other insects from entering the house. We never had any health issues as a result.
