Where can I find homes under $500,000 in Prince William County with 2 acres or more?

I would look either down 234 - Woodbine Woods, etc.; or in the older part of Bear Creek off Yates Ford; or other places down the PW Parkway (zip 20111). I think the zip for Woodbine, etc. is 20109.

As I write this there are 14 homes on the market for sale from $400-500K w/2+ acres. From from $500-550K there are and additional 16. There is a lot of homes for sale and prices have come down so I would say you shouldn't have a hard time finding what you want at the price you want to pay.

So are buyers looking at a selection of renovated homes and homes in need of cosmetic work? Or do they expect to do it all at this price point?

Yes. There are homes on lots of 2 acres or more in the Manassas, and Nokesville areas. They are homes built in the 1970s and 1980s when land was less expensive than today.
