PamandSteve, Flood zones and the requirement of flood insurance is determined by the federal government, FEMA. You can check an address on their website

Each property would have to be evaluated separately if it's located in a flood zone.

Flooding in Tampa is more of a neighborhood by neighborhood or street by street issue. The City has a great website where you can refer to maps that rely on flood data over several years. http://www.tampagov.net/dept_stormwater/information_resource…
