Agnieszka,

1. http://www.homesopentoday.com
2. Search Trulia.com
3. Search Zillow.com
4. Have your agent search MLS and send you a list
5. Weekend Real Estate Section
6. Some agents will mention the open house schedule in the listing description

When you're ready to interview agents you want to consider working with, let me know.

Cheers,

-sunil

Why wait for an open house? Your real estate agent will be able to take you to see any house you would like to see.

If you want to see what is on the market you can start at http://www.Pattymanzi.com. Open houses are sometimes posted http://www.HomesOpenToday.com.

If you need further assistance I would be happy to help!

As others have mentioned, http://www.homesopentoday.com is a good starting point - but check on or near the weekend, as midweek few open houses are listed here.

Craigslist is also a good place to look.

And, of course, most realtors will be happy to give you your own private open house, i.e. set up a showing appointment for you. Good luck!

A new site you may want to explore is open.apr.com. Developed by Alain Pinel Realtors, it searches all Bay Area MLS sites and posts any listed open homes, with dates and times. We have many agents working in areas that are not members of the local associations, so their listing may not show up in the typical MLS for that county or region.

What's nice, is that this site looks at all real estate offices, so you get a comprehensive look at what's open, along with their dates and times.

In addition to the previous answers some agents will also post open homes on Craigslist. You should look there as well.

We have a circular driveway at our Windermere office in Pleasanton where you can drive through and pick up a list of ioen houses on Saturdays and Sundays. If you are not from the area, you can borrow a GPS navigation system and tour the homes yourself, or we have a team of agents available to show you homes in your price range.

Go to the HOT Website --HOT.com (Homes Open Today) and look up Pleasanton - another source would be the Sunday Times Open House section of the newspaper, where they list the open homes for the day. Look for Open House signs in the areas you feel you want to live in - and follow them. When you go into the Open Homes, do not put your personal information down as requested or the agent there will contact you constantly trying to get you to buy with them. The important thing about going to open houses is to find the attributes about the home or neighborhood you like and want to live it and define the things you do not like. This process is very important for you to decide exactly the type of home you and your family want to spend your time/life with. You do not need an agent to do any of this, but when you come to decisions about what you want to live in -- Call me.

Take care and God Bless,

Agnieszka,
The best way is to either have your Realtor give you the information or look on the real estate sites listed. If there is a particular property you are lookin at one on the agents can help you on Trulia too.
Best,
Erica

I would like to help but you have not provided enough information.

In addition, why wait for an open house, assuming that there is one. You may not realize that many homes that are listed for sale are never held open. In this market many houses sell quickly. If you sit and wait for an open house, which may never take place, you will lose out.

Your Realtor can arrange to show you the houses that you want to see…the houses that are available and not those that are advertised in a misleading manner.

If you do not have a Realtor, I urge you to associate yourself with one. It is really to best way to see the houses you want to see, find information about the houses and the market, write an offer, to have guidance in negotiating your way through the escrow process and successfully close your purchase.

Buying a home is a very big deal! I can’t imagine why someone would attempt to buy a home without professional help.

The best way is to have your Realtor contact the listing agent for a specific property.

Agnieszka, you can go to http://www.homesopentoday.com

Again, a Buyer's Realtor is the best source of information!

Best, Steve
