What steps do you take if you arrive at a property with a secure order and you believe it may be occupied?

archismcontracting...not exactly what you're referring to as a "secure order"...might depend on what else it says and who it's from. If for example it was a Crime Scene then obviously you wouldn't go any further, however Foreclosures have notices that state things like Secure Order meaning the house has been secured by the mortgagee, locks changed and "winterized", etc. as well as cases where a home is just "behind" on payments and the mortgagee hires a company to inspect it and determines visually that it's abandoned..will also put similar notices. Best thing to do is to call a Realtor and have the pull up the MLS Listing to see the "confidential remarks" that go with the listing. If not in the Realtors MLS then I wouldn't be entering even if you could.

Your Realtor should not be sending you to properties unaccompanied. For safety, you should leave.
