mkruglik, Home Buyer in 11235

What should I do, if a real state broker refuses to work with me? I am very interested in one of the apartments in VIKING.

So I am curious - Why did the agent refuse to work with you?

Did it have anything to do with being pre-approved for a loan?

Was this a listing agent who didn't want to work as a dual agent?

There are many agents who would be more than happy to work with you. Consider working with an Agent of your own.

Dear Margarita:

You can simply go work with another real estate agent. I am curious, why is it that the broker refuses to work with you? Normally you have to go through a pre-qualification process so that the landlord can make sure you are able to pay the rent. Some landlords/buildings do not want a tenant who smokes or has pets. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. I know several good rental agents in the area that can help you. Good luck!

Thank you. I am not sure. We started the negotiation process and I gave my first offer and then nothing.
After Sandy I requested the information and don't get any answers.
