I live down the street from Alamo Creek and I also like the Savanna 3. Unfortunately, it is more in the $1,500,000-$1,700,000 range. They just opened up Phase 4 and there were only going to be three Savanna 3 plans in that phase. The lot premiums keep the prices higher because the lots have to be bigger than for the other homes. In addition, the Phase 4 prices were going to be higher than the Phase 3 homes anyway. I finally quit going over there to look because they don't take contingencies and it is very risky trying to sell your home for what you think it is worth (in this awful market) while you have $15K sitting in their office and a plan to open escrow with an additional $15K in 30 days to hold one of the homes you want. It is the latest Shappel development in Danville and it is a couple of years old. They had a lottery-type release and I didn't go because you have to have money up front to put down for the opening of escrow. I don't know how successful the lottery was, but if you want information about what they are doing, sign up for email alerts at the Shapell website. That's how I was notified of the release of Phase 4. Hope this helps!
