A lot of the value of your home depends on condition, location, age etc. It is much easier to quote a price on sq. footage for new builds in an area of common homes. Most Realtors offer a free market analysis that will answer your question. Who knows, you may be located in a niche community that will yield a higher average per sq. ft. than average and you would want to capitalize on that.
