What restrictions are in place when buying a horse property?

Louisiana

i.e a property with 'K' zoning.
Are there extra taxes to pay?

What's to prevent me buying a horse property and putting down a 1acre lawn for example.

The fact that the property is has a County zoning that allows you to keep one or more horses wouldn't preclude you from planting that large lawn. But you might want to think twice if you are not a horse lover. Your neighbors probably do keep horses on their property and that can mean the pests that are attracted to the animal waste may ruin your croquet party next Summer.

I don't believe the zoning would create a higher tax rate compared to a Single Family Residential rate. Call me if you think about looking at other properties in this area. (760) 4451534

Covenants and restrictions, followed by zoning for that area.
