I know about the water service in the Cape Coral area. Most of the SE and SW areas are city water and sewer. Most of the NE and NW areas are well water and septic tanks. The well water is very good though and you shouldn't have any fears using it plus it's a money saver. In the future they will probably all be on the city systems. No telling when though. Have good day, Reinhard

Hi Deborah,
If you are shopping waterfront in Ft. Myers along the river and SW Cape Coral approx 90% will be central water and sewer. Happy to help you do an area search with the link to FL Gulfcoast MLS below.

Deborah,

The Caloosahatchee is a wide area. Mostly city, except for the Northeast and Northwest areas of Cape Coral. There are still some wells in Southwest Cape Coral. Eventually, these will become City. For more info on specific neighborhoods and properties, feel free to drop me an email or all. Realtorlloydn@aol.com.
