In this market, a buyer really needs to do their homework on how financially sound a building is. With all the foreclosures...owners are having to pick up the slack in terms of special assessments. I've dues from $50 to $500.

Joe,

The range of HOA fees depends on the community and the amenities you have available. The best way to find out is to contact a Realtor and give them the names of the communities you're interested in. They can pull up listings in the MLS. If the community has an HOA the fees will be stated in the MLS listing.

PS. Fees may differ slightly from home to home depending on square footage.

Hi,
A single gamily home does not have an hoa fee unless it is in townhouse community. A condo will have a condo association fee, and on a 2 bedroom it can range from 400-800/month.

If I can assist you any further feel free to contact me directly.
