The assessment for a single family, duplex, or condo not on the golf course is $654. If on the golf course, it's $713 per year. The assessment is like a city tax, if you live in the city limits you pay a city tax that covers fire department, road maintenance. We in Sun N Lake do not pay a city tax to Sebring as we are not in the city limits. We have our own water, sewer, security, fire department, etc and maintain our own streets which is what the assessment covers. Vacant land owners also pay an assessment, but at a much lower rate.

I live in Sun N Lake and work for Ridge Real Estate which is also in Sun N Lake. If you are looking for an agent to answer other questions or to show you around in Sun N Lake, call me and I will be glad to help. It's a great community to live and work in. Call me if you need more information.

I believe you'd be better off to call the Sun N Lake Improvement District at 863-382-2196. They should be able to answer any questions on a particular property or direct you to whomever can answer your questions.

The yearly assessment that I see most often is around $600. You have to be careful though because if you're buying vacant land there may be outstanding bonds and assessments for infrastructure attached to the property.

If the property is listed in our Multiple Listing Service, you can call any local Realtor and they can look up the address and give you any information that's on the listing sheet.
