Haven't been inside Bahama Bay for quite a while. The resort straddles the Osceola/Polk County line and for a long time there was a wooden fence down the middle and the Osceola side was completely shuttered. I do not know if the fence is still there, but the Osceola side is mainly vacant lots. Also be aware that these are three story buildings, which means no elevators.
To my knowledge there is a lawsuit between the HOA and the developer due to structure issues that the buildings have. For now the HOA has to pick up the tab and that is where the higher than usual HOA fees in the community come from.
