i am looking to buy in hayward. Today i saw 6 empty apartment in the same complex. only one had tenant.

Thanks for the info so far. I've done searches on Craigslist but it only gives me info about what's available on market right now, but it doesn't give me any information on how fast rentals are going or how successfully units are being rented out, etc. I tried looking on the internet for some information but haven't been able to find anything unfortunately.

A good source for current rents would be to search Craig's list for rentals in the areas you mentioned. Hope this helps. It varys from location.
