What is the percentage homeowner real estate tax exemption in the City of Providence?

The homestead exemption is 50%. I can't remember the rate per $1000 right now, but let's say for example that the rate is $26 per $1000. People who live in the houses they own get a 50% homestead exemption and would pay $13 per $1000. Although technically, I believe the City of Providence calculates it by making 50% of your appraised value exempt from taxes, it works out the same.

Are you referring to the Tax credit by the government that expires in November?
